As many Canadians would like to greet and welcome Obama to Canada, many on the westcoast won’t be able to make it. For these members Canadians for Obama is organizing a historic Call to Service event -

Every 19th of the month we will be organizing volunteering events to engage our fellow Canadians in helping out in the community. This month, February - on the day Obama visits Ottawa (Feb. 19th), we will be assisting an African Immigrants non-profit. This is in keeping with Obama’s Call to Service on Martin Luther King Day (January 19th).

- Please wear old clothes, snacks/drinks will be provided.
- Afterwards we will go to a local pub and celebrate!

Would you like to help out? We are looking for volunteers to help us paint!! Please send us your name, email, phone number and when you’d like to volunteer between 3-8pm.
